Kim Blackman

Born and raised in ther Bronx New York, I learned at an early age to be independent, fast moving, and adventurous

I attended one of the largest high schools in the United Staes-3,000 boys- before getting a degree in economics and then continuing on to earn a law degree as well.

I moved to Miami Florida for fun and sun where I also practiced law for eight years before my entrepreneurial spirit, which is strong in me, took over. At that point, I opened my first racial business, with $300. Within 8 years, I had 15 employees, 5 locations and gross sale of APPROX $2.5 million in todays dollars. Being a “serial Entrepreneur”, I have had my own businesses, making my way in this world-always as an owner or independent contractor, and always in sales

I have taught how to sell from London to Beijing, in institutions as varied as The British Museumto Disney World

Presently, I still am a CEO of a small, international company, but enjoy a slower pace here in St. George and giving back via the opportunities open to me here at DSU.
