Judy Blackman is a retired teacher residing in St George. She was raised and educated in NYC and after teaching there for several years, she moved to Miami, Florida where she and her husband, Kim raised their two sons. During that time she owned and operated successful art and gift galleries. Upon becoming empty-nesters, Judy and Kim decided to relocate to Los Angeles where Judy returned to her original passion of teaching. There she specialized in working with gifted and talented students. In 2005 Kim and Judy fell in love with the beauty and the warmth of the people of southern Utah . They continued to return several times a year until deciding to retire four years ago. Judy spends her time reading, baking, doing yoga, attending ICL classes, and home-schooling her grandchildren who live in Vermont (her favorite activity.)
