John Harrison is a retired Special Agent of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division. He has broad experience conducting financial investigations involving narcotics, homicide, political corruption, organized crime, money laundering, Ponzi schemes, e-gambling, outlaw gangs, terrorism financing, digital forensic evidence, espionage, foreign and domestic forfeiture and all types of financial fraud. Prior to the IRS, John was a police officer for the Wayne County Sheriff, Detroit, Michigan for a year. He began his career with the IRS as a Special Agent in the Detroit office after graduating from the University of Michigan. During his 33 year career with the US Treasury, John was involved in many projects of strategic importance to the United States including assignments with the FBI Joint Counter Terrorism Task Force (post 9/11), the IRS Mountain States Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Tax Force and as Supervisory Special Agent for his region. John is an esteemed member of many forensic and fraud examiner societies.
