I am a retired person who worked in Human Resources for 25 years. My education consists of Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After retirement, I worked as the Human Resource Manager for USF&G Insurance for two years. Following that and my move to St.George, I worked for Dixie College for two years as the Director of what is now the Road Scholar program. I also have experience in volunteering for several projects, festivals and have served on several boards. The Mentor Program interests me because I think I have something to offer young people justbeginning a new chapter in their lives—a college education. Education opens doors for everyone and it is the most important investment a person can make in themselves. In addition, they either are or will be looking for employment.
