Bruce has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Russian, and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. He holds bar licenses in 6 states, including UT, practicing as a corporate attorney for community banks and credit unions. He has been married for 33 years and has 3 adult sons, the youngest is still in college. He and his wife Denise live near Snow Canyon, and are avid hikers and mountain bikers. He is involved in South Mountain Community Church, serving as an usher and small group leader. Bruce has served in various mentoring roles over the years through Boy Scouts, church and community programs, and enjoys encouraging young adults to fulfill their potential and become the very best version of themselves.
